How long does a Tektonz epoxy floor really last? +
Properly prepared, color-flake-broadcast, and polyaspartic-topcoated floors typically last 15+ years residentially. We back the bond with a lifetime adhesion warranty.
Will the floor yellow under Florida sun? +
Our polyaspartic topcoat is UV-stable, which means it holds its color and gloss under direct sunlight. Standard epoxy alone will yellow over time — that's why we always finish with polyaspartic.
How soon can I park on my new floor? +
You can walk on the floor 4–6 hours after install, and park on it the next day. Heavy loads (boats, jacks, hoists) we recommend waiting 72 hours.
Can you install epoxy over existing paint or sealer? +
We don't coat over old paint or sealer. Mechanical flooring preparation removes those layers so the new system bonds to bare concrete. It's the only honest way to do it.
Is the surface slippery when wet? +
The decorative flake broadcast creates micro-texture that gives real grip, even when wet. For commercial floors that need more, we add an anti-slip aggregate to the topcoat.
How much does an epoxy floor cost? +
Most residential installs start around the low thousands; large or detailed jobs scale from there. Every estimate is based on slab condition, square footage, and finish — we measure on-site for accuracy.
Do you offer a warranty? +
Yes. Lifetime adhesion warranty on residential installs. We stand by the bond — if it lifts under normal use, we come back and make it right.
Do you serve commercial properties? +
Yes. Auto shops, warehouses, restaurant kitchens, showrooms and light manufacturing. We work nights and weekends so production never stops.
